A picture is a poem without words: Valentine’s Month

You know where we’re going with this, right? It’s the month of love. There’s inspiration all around. It’s the perfect opportunity to embrace your creativity, to wish people well and to conjure up a visual poem.
The deadline for submission at our Drop Off points is the end of February 2019 – check out our updated drop off points here. However, if you’re not going to make it in time, you can send your artwork to us directly by the middle of March 2019 – 1000 Drawings, 1st Floor Humankind Building, 259 Jan Smuts Avenue, Dunkeld West, Johannesburg, 2196.

2. Body Love
Our very own look-alike Matisse donation from Olive and Arrow Creative – called Body Love. To add this to your collection get your tickets to Night of 1000 Drawings NOW.

3. The Tree
No list of love art can exclude Gustav Klimt’s simmering sensual symbolism. This is The Tree. Do a version for us.

4. A story in every line
Drawn by a 16 year old Irish girl Shania McDonagh. There’s a story in every line.

5. #1000D2019
Creating art to make more art. This beauty is by Katlego Phatlane –@kattphatt – for the #1000D2019 ad agency doodle-off between Joe Public United and Ogilvy Mather.
